Today is the day…

So today is our last day! We are feeling a bit nervous for our final presentation!!! Overall this experience has been great! We have grown together, fought together, accomplished together and as a group and as individuals we have been positively impacted through this wonderful experience! Looking forward to feedback after our presentation 😉

Our final week

So far this week has been stressful and busy but very productive in terms of community interaction! We visited Edgemead Primary on Monday for their second break and had some nice chats to the Edgemead Primary Environmental society. Yesterday we spent both break times with grade 2 kids at Seamount Primary. These kids blew us away with their eagerness to help us and learn about what we were doing. We got hugs and ‘awwwws’ when we had to leave, what a wonderful experience!

Spirit & motivation before and after! according to the group members….

Each member of the group has written a before and after sentence to describe group spirit, motivation and dynamics 🙂

Before!

Amber: Our group was all over the place, non-committed. 

Thina: Group was confused, with many ideas but no way to tackle them in terms of engaging with the product and the community.

Mthunzi: Our group was clueless before we had a product and we were unaware of how strong our campaign was.

Onesimo: The group was less motivated there was no progress and everything was so laid back. 

Justine: The group was lazy, lacking in motivation and unwilling and unable to communicate and do their part.

After!

Amber: Strong group understanding, we found our feet.

Thina: Our ideas enabled us to find our feet, the first product creation and interaction with the community explained our purpose and the community loved our ideas and product.

Mthunzi: The group spirit developed and we got to understand each other in a positive way.

Onesimo: There was harmony and less fighting and were all eager to work.

Justine: The group became excited and motivated, everybody started working hard and communicating in a helpful way.
